Vasey Aviation Group LLC Assisting Skybus Airlines as Airports in Massachusetts and Florida Receive First Scheduled Commercial Service
COLUMBUS, OH (May 30, 2007). Vasey Aviation Group LLC (VA), a specialized aviation-based professional services firm, is assisting Skybus Airlines, the next generation of low-fare airlines, with its system-wide corporate real estate activities as part of its initial launch of service. Skybus has firm orders for 65 Airbus 319 jets and began flying on May 22, 2007.
VA is assisting Skybus and the local airport authorities in St. Augustine, FL and Chicopee, MA with the development and set-up of corporate real estate activities required for the launch of scheduled service, including terminal improvements, concession operations, security operations and capital funding. Today's announcement of scheduled service to St. Augustine, FL and Chicopee, MA is the result of a partnership among Skybus, the Authorities and VA to bring affordable air service to new markets in the US.
