While president of ACM, Andrew Vasey initiated the project and lead the program management on behalf of the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) for the $1 billion Midfield Terminal Program at Indianapolis International Airport (IND).   

The Midfield Terminal Program is the largest single capital project ever executed in the history of the State of Indiana.  

This entirely new, $1 billion 21st century terminal complex, located midfield between the existing parallel runways, will feature 90,000 sf of retail space, 55,000 sf of office space, 96 passenger check-in counters, 18 passenger screening checkpoints and 40 passenger gates (with provisions for future expansion).

The Indianapolis Airport Authority’s goal for this airport demanded that the terminal be modern efficient and uniquely representative of the history and future of Indiana. The result is an architectural structure that works with the wind, sun and takes advantage of natural illumination.
