Houston Hobby - New Central Concourse Houston, TX
As the Senior Project Manager at Southwest Airlines, Perry Martin managed the integration of Southwest’s 20-gate operation into the design and construction of the new $80 million New Central Concourse project.
Mr. Martin’s project management responsibilities included coordinating the installation of the hydrant fueling system, 100% baggage screening solution, cabling infrastructure, passenger loading bridges, Central PC Air system and 400Hrz system.
The New Central Concourse was the first major capital improvement project Houston Hobby has implemented since Southwest Airlines began service there 33 years ago.
Houston Airport Systems is expanding the Central Concourse with five new gates. The new gates will accommodate Delta, American Eagle, Airtran, ATA and Jet Blue airlines.

Currently, Vasey Aviation Group LLC (VA) has been commissioned as the Airline Liaison to coordinate all the airline relocations from the existing concourse to the new Central Concourse.
Coordination efforts include cabling infrastructure, hold room layouts, aircraft safety envelope layouts and overall relocation logistics.
